I never planned to do this. I didnt hate the rear end of the pre-89 tails to spend the to update. but i found these on a 87 supra in the junyard and got them for .
First things first
The first thing i had to do was polish them up a bit. they were in dier need of polishing. And for those who dont know how to polish plastic or glass. Its the same as a car. you need a high speed buffer and some rubbing or polishing compound. You just have to be careful not to stay in one place to long or you will melt the plastic then smear it. aka very hard to fix.
Installed
It was a straight bolt on. you may have to drill two extra holes for the center section, or just pull out the studs. or maybe they will come broken off like mine were.
Just a cool shot
This was a mistake with the digital camera that turned out awsome. Oh and i plan to tint the center section to match the outer parts.
